"Bloom" is an oil painting I recently finished that measures 36 x 48 inches on canvas. The painting can be considered a multimedia painting because it utilizes acrylic paint and oil paint. The subject of the painting is a female nude, front-facing with a head resembling a succulent. The figure is outlined with black and white stripes to accentuate the contrast of the colors on the canvas. Painted over the course of 2 months, this painting shows my personal artistic style of mixing realism with graphic, pop style art that blends to create surrealism.
